While Disney is not part of
east COAST vacations per se, no self respecting vacation site
would consider itself complete without a section about Disney
Parks Fl... and after all, it's only about a 75 minute drive
from Interstate 95 and the Beeline and as such really IS part
of the Eastcoast Vacation experience.
If you consider the Disney Resort at Vero
Beach (Disney hotel fl) to be part of the East Coast vacation
experience, certainly relevancy is retained. Add to this that
the Disney cruise fleet departs from Port Canaveral and that
the Disney cruise Dexperience is simply an extension of the Fl
Disney Parks, we definitely still are talking about East Coast
Vacations.. and out to sea.
AN EAST COAST
CENTRAL VACATION OPTION: THE SPACE COAST
Pompano Beach is
Also A Part of Your Central Vacation
Experience!
Disney really started this thing
with
mickey's magic kingdom now many years
ago, and then moved on to open epcot Fl, and now there are at
least five major fl disney theme parks. You can do an entire
two week vacation with Disney alone and not even consider the
competition such as Universal Fl.
We have! and we've done it in all seasons.
What we suggest you avoid is vacationing there in Jul and
August due to the heat and crowds. April and Sep are our
favorite months. Don't ask our favorite park... they all are
just tops and now that we (your site author and webmaster) has
retired to Fl to become residents, with the fl resident disney
ticket offers, we're going to be there a whole lot more. And
that is not even considering a weekend at the Vero Beach Disney
Hotel resort.
The latest Disney offering however is yet to
be tried, and this is the park-sea disney cruise and park
combined package. In fact, we have yet to go on our first
cruise, but from the studying we have done, there's no question
our choice will be the Disney Cruise experience as our
first.
For those visiting Disney
for the first time, we have only one word of principal advice:
Plan Ahead. OK.. that's two words. Buy yourself 2-3 good books
on park layout; know what you want to see. Learn about the line
reservation system and use it. Choose your restaurants and book
there early in the day. Pace yourself. Mix your activity with
the park, then getting to your hotel and maybe cooling at the
pool. Split your day. But do plan and recognize that in one day
or one week you can't do everything.

If you do this, you'll end the vacation with
some really great experiences and feelings and definitely look
forward to your next visit and different experience!
