While we have not done a separate site for Hilton Head, possibly we should. In our eyes, it's at least a "kissin' cousin" to Myrtle Beach, if not a closer relationship. The primary differences we see is that Hilton Head is not as blatanly commercial and is possibly a bit more upscale. Definitely also "touristy" but on a different level.

A map of Hilton Head Island will show you some of the differences. While it can not be argued that golf is not top qualilty at Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head Island golf and golf packages are virtually un-rivaled. So far in this web site, the serious golfer would not have any problems with the quality of golf at any resort areas mentioned so far, starting at Kiawah.

Part of the overall golf experience however is experiencing many different courses and hopefully mastering at least a few. The HiltonHead Golf package adds to the resources of the avid golfer.

Hilton Head Lodging is abundant in choices ranging from condos at Hilton Head to beach Cottages at Hilton Head to private home rentals here.  And while we've been concentrating on golf, we can not overlook the great HiltonHead Island beaches or the fantastic and in some cases HiltonHead Gourmet restaurants.

It's just a short drive from Myrtle Beach, so be sure and not to miss it.
