AND

While in the area of Cincinnati, be sure and plan a short day trip just north of Kings Island to the quaint Golden Lambvillage of Lebanon. It's only fitting that while on the subject of Cincinnati hotels, we include this town because of it's famous GOLDEN LAMB HOTEL.. once an old stage coach stop between Columbus and Cincinnait and the site visited by many past presidents. It's known locally for its great restaurant, and the town itself is magnificently restored. It was the on site setting for the movie "Harper Valley PTA", and the village was featured in a long ago issue of "The Ford Times". It is a county seat; has great festivals, and you should check out the Honey Festival.  If your staying choices   run to camping, be sure and take in the Cedarbrook Campground and say Hello to my old and dear friends, owners Carrie and Ollie Hill. Staying longer? Plan a canoe trip on the scenic little Miami River and tour Indian Mound State Park.  Always lots to do in this area.
